課程概述

本課程提供醫學相關學術英語字彙並涵蓋多種醫療場域溝通情境；學習內容為醫學機構中相關人員執行工作時，以及民眾就醫、尋求醫療服務與汲取醫學知識時會使用到的英語為學習重點。不僅適合具有醫學、生物背景知識的同學選修，其它學科背景的學生亦能透過此線上課程拓展實際運用英語的能力。主教材的主題有急救醫療、運動傷害、公共衛生、外科手術、醫學科技等。

課程目標
 1. 熟習常見疾病、主要人體構造與生理系統的英語辭彙與相關片語
2. 具體而清楚地詢問或表達身心上之不適症狀
3. 掌握詢問、聆聽、說明、描述、說服等常用英語句型
4. 增強一般性的英語閱讀能力與聽力
5. 提高吸收醫學知識的能力。  
課程要求
 1. 依照進度，自學線上教材
2. 於指定時間作答線上小考
3. 至少參與1堂討論課 (多參加可加分)
4. 於指定時間應考階段考
